Item payd to Richard Lambe for a book of prayer for the Queene’s majestie the xxvth daye of Marche

Item, paid to Richard Lambe for a book of prayer for the Queen's Majesty the 25th day of March. 

Item he [the Accountant] chargeth himself with Seaven shillings nyne pence Receaued of Fowlke Broughton for the old Bible of the churche, and also with Twelve pence which this Accountant before the sale thereof Receaued of one Mr. Morrys a Relator to the counsell in the Marches of Wales in earnest of the said Bible which xijd. was forfeyted by him for that he fetcht not he booke as he promised, in toto,

Item, he [the Accountant] charges himself with Seven shillings, nine pence, received of Fowlke Broughton for the old Bible of the church, and also with Twelve pence which this Accountant before the sale thereof Received of one Master Morrys, a Relator to the council in the Marches of Wales in earnest of the said Bible which 12 pence was forfeited by him for that he fetched not the book as he promised. In total, [8 shillings, 9 pence]. 

Item payd for newe byndeing and Amending of the old Communion booke (long before yt was sold) and the Clerke’s psalter 

Item, paid for new binding and Amending of the old Communion book (long before it was sold) and the Clerk's psalter. 

Item this Accountant chargeth him selfe with Three shillings fower pence Receaued of Mr. Browghton for the old communion booke of the churche

Item, this Accountant charges himself with three shillings, four pence, received of Mr. Browghton for the old communion book of the church. 

Item payd for a new fayer Englishe Bible of the last Translation authorised in the churche

Item, paid for a new fair English Bible of the last Translation authorized in the church.

Item payd for a newe Large Communion booke for the churche

Item, paid for a new Large Communion book for the church. 

Item payd for wryting of the Sentences of holy Scripture abouts the walls of the church and Chauncell and the paynteing there abouts and for Coulloring the gallery 8s., also geven to the payneter’s man for his paynes 4d., in toto

Item, paid for writing of the Sentences of holy Scripture about the walls of the church and Chancel, and the painting there abouts and for coloring the gallery, 8 shillings, also given to the painter's man for his pains, 4 pence, in total [8 shillings, 4 pence].

Item payd for a prayer booke which was brought to our church by the Apparitor

Item, paid for a prayer book which was brought to our church by the Apparitor. 

Item layd out for a bell Rope the xviijth daye of August xvijd., and a penny for mendinge the Claspe of the byble [total]

Item, laid out for a bell Rope the 18th day of August, 17 pence, and a penny for mending the Clasp of the Bible, [total 18 pence].
