The dates for this accounting year orginally spanned from 25 December 1600 to 25 December 1601, but appears to have been later extended until 24 April 1602. These dates were recorded as follows:

"The Account of John Ampleforth, late churchwarden with Thomas Woader, in the parishe of Saynct Barthelmewes the lyttle, neere the Rioall Exchange in London, made and geven up to the parishioners of the same parishe. As well four all such somes of mony as hath come to his handes to the use of the sayd parishe, As also of the payementes by him made for the necessary affayres and uses of the said parishe, for the space of one Whole Yere, beginnynge at the Feast of the byrth of our Lord god, 1600, and endinge at the Feast and birth of our Lord, 1601, as followeth; and yet contynewed till the 24th Aprill, anno, 1602"

[The Account of John Ampleforth, late churchwarden with Thomas Woader, in the parish of Saint Bartholomew's the little, near the Royal Exchange in London, made and given up to the parishioners of the same parish. As well for all such sums of money as hath come to his hands to the use of the said parish, As also of the payments by him made for the necessary affairs and uses of the said parish, for the space of one Whole Year, beginning at the Feast of the birth of our Lord god, 1600, and ending at the Feast and birth of our Lord, 1601, as followeth; and yet continued until the 24th April, anno, 1602.]
