Parishes
St. Michael was closed and demolished in 1525 by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey to make way for the great quadrangle of Cardinal College, which became Christ Church college.
The original church stood at the corner of Queen Street and New Inn Hall Street, where Bonn Square now exists, but was demolished in 1874 for road widening. The church was later rebuilt further north. It is now part of St. Peter's college complex.
