DescriptionThe original church stood at the corner of Queen Street and New Inn Hall Street, where Bonn Square now exists, but was demolished in 1874 for road widening. The church was later rebuilt further north. It is now part of St. Peter's college complex.

DescriptionThe township of Padiham lay entirely within the parish of Whalley. There is evidence of a chantry chapel in Padiham from the mid-15th century and over the course of the sixteenth century, parishioners within the township came to the chapel rather than to the parish church in Whalley.
